Top 6 Performances Review
-Take note that this is mostly an opinion. Yes, pitch problems and stuff aren't opinions, but whether I liked a performance or not is totally an opinion.
-Also take note that, yes, everybody knows I'm a drop dead David Archuleta fan. I'll say my favorite performance of the night, but I will say kinda my second favorite, because we all know Archuleta's usually my fave. So yeah. xD

Syesha
Wow, this girl wowed me tonight. I've always noticed she has a powerful voice, and I was vaguely aware of the fact she is an actress in commercials and stuff. But she actually did splendid. She was all lit up and animated in a nice red dress, and she really worked that stage and Ricky Minor or whoever was conducting the musicians. She's usually not very consistent, but tonight she did a fabulous job. All the judges adored her, especially in this setting. I agree with Simon, she very well could turn into a huge Broadway star.

Jason
Ugh. No offesne to anybody, but this guy did a terrible job. He was totally pitchy all the way through, and I'm sure he didn't have a clue what he was singing. Something about his voice just didn't suit this song at all. The judges agreed, Randy describing it as a "train wreck" which I think if completely right on. On a lighter note, he takes critism, constructive or not, very maturely. He's not like some idols -coughKristyLeeCookcough- who are all, "NO WAIZ DATZ SO FALSE I GUNA PROVE U RONG HAHA".

Brooke
Ah, my beloved Brooke. I'm sorry Brooke fans, but this performance was not cool. Very pitchy, not strong vocally, and agreed at Simon's "straining" comment. She looked insanely nervous, which showed when she had to start the song over again when she lost the lyric. Poor Brookie. However, she did pass by as very vulerable, so I think Andrew Llyod Weber did a great job on getting her to really understand the song. She came across as the saddest girl in the world despite her perky dress. She's totally in danger of leaving. Wasn't much of a fan anyway, but still.

David A.
Oh, Archie. Well sung! He was very mellow and gave a calm performance that still managed to give chills. Amazing skillage right there. He ended with a nice, pure note that even went into his head voice a bit. Also, he kept his eyes open to ALW's delight. One complaint, I know it's not a very fast song or anything, but he could have at least taken one step. He just stood in the exact same spot the whole time [probably too concentrated in keeping his eyes open!]. Still, wonderful job. Simon wasn't thrilled with it, probably because the song was very slow and mellow. I was hoping for a more upbeat song, but this was still a very complete performance. Well done.

Carly
Woo, she did a very powerful performance! I liked her energy, and she had a very consistent voice the whole way through. I agree with Simon that it did get a bit shouty in the middle, but it was a good performace nevertheless. I'm very relieved she didn't go with her first choice song, because gloomy ballads are really not her thing. She needs rocking jumpy songs like the one she sang.
I'd like to point out that the reason she could be in danger of going home tonight is because she's very intense, and lots of people don't like that. As a result of the lack of fans, there is a chance she could be leaving.

David C.
Cookie! Cookie rocked it. He played romantically yet beautifully. The fact that he was the last preformer helped quite a bit. The last performances are the most remembered, and if you nail it, you're through. No question.
He nailed it. Looking very handsome, he sang wonderfully. He stayed perfectly calm and he totally looked comfortable on stage. I do prefer the rocker side of him, but this was nice. It was very good.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Fave:
We all know I can't resist Archuleta's charm, so I'm going to skip to my second favorite. Cookie definitely takes that position. He did amazingly for a style he's not very used to.
My Bottom Three Prediction: Hmm. Well, based off of reality, the bottom three will most likely be Brooke, Jason, and Carly. I adore Carly, but she really is losing fans. Either Carly or Jason will get sent back to safety, and Brooke will say goodbye to us tonight. Just a fair preditcion I'm throwing out. I really don't like Jason, but he has so many screaming fangirls he's safe for a while.

Thank you for reading my review. :]
