Using an iPod as a backup device isn't a bad idea. Although I thought TV shows were always a waste because you'd only watch your favorite episode more than once.

Nope, but I have a lot more than 8GB.
I've got a good amount of movies, and tv shows. 2 GB of music, and then a lot of pictures. I'm working on backing up any even decent pictures onto it.
I went for the classic (i got a refurbished) because of the bigger screen.

If somebody has THAT much music, they need to check into a mental institute. D: XD

I'm using 20GB.
The software uses 7GB by itself. XD

I'll bet my dad and brother have that much music. XD
My dad has the 80 GB Classic and my brother has the 80 GB Videoo.
They're crazy D:

I think buying them pretty much is, I bought software so I can just get them off my DVD's. I have the entire first season of Man vs. Wild on there, ten or more Mythbusters, and a lot of Hogan's Heros. (and more) When we go on trips (such as the 12-hour drive to NC in two weeks) my siblings get first priority on the Car TV. So I can either watch the Backyardigans and Thomas the Tank Engine, WHAT CHOICES! (I must say that I do like the Backyardigans though. :3) So it will definatly be nice to watch my own things on the way there. xD

and they don't have EXACTLY 80GB by the way.
the exactly number it 79.6 or 76.9.

I know, they round it and the OS takes up space.

But seriously if you have more than 68 gigs left, it seems like a waste. :(
