That, and because the only people who really come here now are...Me, Collar, PL16, IWN, Psy, Ngal, and occasionally DM4. Before, there used to be A_L and all those people.. Now it's just dead.

Hasn't all of the threads had enough attention? o_O Some have several hundred pages, all the others have like 30, and back in the NSider days we couldn't even believe it when we saw a thread past 10 pages. Plus alot of  people here have like 4000 pictures of each of their dogs, and I'm CERTAIN they've all been posted before. ._.
And, the same people are replying EVERY TIME... These threads have several hundred pages out of the 5 or so people that reply every time? Think of all the pictures and the time since these threads even started.

WE'VE ALL SEEN EVERYONES DOGS... I think now whats goin on is that people are into photography now so they're just taking pics of their dogs for practice, but post them here. Dogs are some of the best ways to experiment with your camera, I did it all the time with my brother's Fuji. "Omg hes so cuuuuuuuuutteeeeee:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD" replies are the same as "kool pics" now.

IMO it is..

I'm turning this kinda off subject but I honestly think we need more BOARDS about gaming and stuff. Specific gaming though. Y'know, DS, Wii, Computer, discussion about certain games, reviews about them..etc. And also, IMO, people need to be flexible about it. Ok, for example, I like a certain dinosaur game - no shocker there - if I were to write a Review about JPOG I'm telling you now - it'd be ignored from the minute I posted it. That, IMO, is not flexible. I've posted on Psy's reviews about certain games that I don't even LIKE, but, I still gave him credit for doing it and read the review anyway, DESPITE the fact I HATE shooters etc, which was what the review was about.

I was also thinking about making an OFFICIAL Youtube Video thread.. Yknow, not making a new one every 4 months saying "SO UR FAVE UTUBES!!?!?!"

to be honest with you everyone still cares about dogs, yes, but I think the forum would get a little more active if it had more broad topics. Granted - this IS a dog forum, but does it really seem like anyone is still interested of seeing 50 pics of someone's random dog over the internet every day? No, I've never been really, but that's the way people did things - Now they've changed, which could maybe even mean they've changed the topics they'd like to talk about. We'd lose users and gain some either way. We'd probably lose people like A_L if she ever came back, and gain others. 

Also I was thinking if something like that were to happen with the gaming.. a Screenshot thread. For me it's kinda obvious, I'd constantly be posting Screenshots of JPOG. IMO it'd be kinda like "computer photography", no? =P

And I even somewhat don't want to say this.. but a music board. Practically everyone here is obsessed with at least one band, so why not put their obsessions to good use? :P

This is what I'd add if it was up to me:

-- Gaming General Discussion
- DS
- Wii
- Computer

-- Entertainment General Discussion
- Bands and Singers
- TV/Movies

And I'd also add a board that is sorta like an introduce yourself.

not payin attention to a review iznt inflexible
People read a review for one reason and that's to see if the game is worth getting. No one would pay attention to a JP thingy because no one here is obsessed with dinos like someone we know.
I wrote the other review on the "nasty bad shooter" for Sonic cuz he wanted to know how it was and it would have been difficult to do a review in a little MSN window.
A Guitar Hero review would get alot of attention because everyone likes guitar hero for some reason.

I agree with the rest though, except there's more gaming consoles than just Wii PC and DS >:(, and we probably don't need a introduction board cuz no one joins.

 I only really said Wii, DS and Compy because they seem to be the most immeadiate things.

I would've said PS2/Xbox 360 etc but nobody here really has them.

If you would want that then I'd say make a board such as "Other Gaming Consoles" under Gaming General Discussion. But let's face it here, how many people honestly have PS2 and still use them or have 360s?

And heck, I don't even know people who have PS3's.
