(yes i know i posted this on dA)

yesterday i tried using my camcorder which I haven't used in months (lost the charger for it) and everything was blurry. I tried cleaning the lens several times and it made no difference, so i was kinda stumped

I looked it up online and learned that fungus can grow inside your camera lens. I saw pics and looked inside my lens, and indeed I do have some little plants in there. It happens when your camera is in a humid area for too long... in this case my camera bag, and 8 months.

AND YES IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANY CAMERA >:(

That's insane. o_O
I'm presuming it can happen in old manual lens too?
I'm getting my Dad's old Minolta thats been in my Grandparents attack, I'm hoping its not modly. D;
