=o I love those sunrise ones--they're beautiful. And that last one of the telephone wires with that nice stormy look is terrific.

Nice job on the football one, it's great, especially for the lighting conditions. :)

Shanks you guys. Majority of them blurred, but that's the great one that I'm really proud of. It was good experience (and strengthened my want for a 50mm f/1.8...)

So, a praying mantis decided to hang out on our front door. The lighting was really good (just a sliver was getting through in most cases). Most of these shots were at -2 EV.

The detail in those are fantastic, and the lighting just makes them really spectucular. I love the last one, it's got a peaceful sense about it.
Fantastic pictures, as always. :p

ty. It was hilarious how the mantis seemed to be bathing in the sliver of light that was getting through (a pillar was blocking most of it).

And the red-tailed hawk was there when we were going to my grandmother's house for Thanksgiving. I specifically asked my dad if there were any red-tailed hawks before I left, and if I should bring the telephoto lens. He said there weren't. :( I had to take it with the kit lens.
